Welcome to our beautiful old home, renovated with love and care by us, Nick and Nat, a husband and wife team with three kids. Our home is designed to be a place where you can come and stay, slow down, relax and rejuvenate. The Berryman Story
We purchased this home back in 2021, with crazy dreams of restoring it back to it's former glory. It had always been a dream of ours to buy an old place like this and finally we did it. However, It didn't take us long to realise how much bigger this project was than we first thought.
From the ground up we have restored this beautiful old cottage. This included a full re-stump, plumbing, electrical, new deck, roof extension, and new bathroom. The floors are all original, hidden under vinyl for years and years, we pulled off the layers and brought the timber back to life.
The deck is our pride and joy, sitting outside in the morning with a cuppa, watching the sun light up the mountains gives us time to reflect on this journey. We have carefully thought about each space and tried to make it as homely and inviting as possible.
We hope that you fall in love with this house and appreciate it for what it is. A place to escape, unwind, relax and breathe in.
The story isn't over yet for The Berryman, as we enjoy some rest and invite guests to visit, we are busy thinking of other ways to bring The Berryman to the next level! A plunge pool or hot tub?
